EDC (Every Day Carry) IFAK
We travel a lot at Rescue Essentials and being who we are, we found ourselves carrying multiple medical kits and supplies for EDC (Every Day Carry). IFAK's are a great thing to have in your bag, but typically lack the basic first aid supplies that you need on a regular basis. So we created the EDC IFAK. A "go to" comprehensive Everyday Carry medical kit. Toss it in your go bag, your suitcase, backpack or your vehicle and you always have the medical supplies you need for both severe bleeding, CPR and basic first aid. Compact enough to carry without taking up a ton of valuable space in your bag.
While most IFAK's have the medical components necessary to control severe bleeding (e.g. tourniquet, wound packing, pressure dressing, etc) what they typically don't have is the general first aid supplies you need on a day to day basis. Things like bandages, tape, gauze pads, over the counter medications, etc. The EDC IFAK is your comprehensive one kit solution for everyday carry medical. From severe trauma to basic first aid. No sharp items or liquids that are going to be grabbed by TSA when traveling.

Great kit, only small issues
I bought this kit to be compact and easy to strap to a backpack while I'm walking around campus. The options on the market were: severe bleed equipment only, or bigger kits that were bulkier with either limited or too much equipment for a hefty price. This kit balances those into a reasonable size for a great price. The kit comes with severe bleed response equipment and minor-moderate bleed while also supplying an airway and CPR barrier. Complaints: -Inside the pouch, there is an elastic cord that, I assume, is there to keep everything in place, but the kit is packed tight enough that nothing moves anyway. This cord ends up getting in the way when trying to pull out stuff or put stuff away, I chose to remove it. -The kit lacks a penlight and trauma shears. Any first aid kit should have some sort of shear, especially if you are packing cardiac/respiratory arrest equipment and/or massive hemorrhage equipment to remove clothing and cut bandages. A penlight helps the responder identify things like head injuries and overdose. These items were still easy to purchase through the website and I added them to my kit. All in all, this product was wonderful and exactly what I was looking for.

Great kit
Just packed to tightly for me. In an emergency I value organization and ease of access over the size of the kit. Perhaps an option for a larger more organized container for those who choose
