Bureau of Land Management Ranger IFAK

The BLM Ranger IFAK was designed in coordination with Bureau of Land Management Rangers and Tactical Medics. The objective was to create an easy-access, comprehensive kit, and make it available to any BLM Ranger across the Country. The complete kit comes with a vacuum sealed unit containing most of the components. A RIGID® hard tourniquet case holding a CAT Gen7 tourniquet is also part of this kit for belt mounting.

The Ranger who coordinated this kit had this to say about the design and choice of components:

"Each component was chosen primarily for its effectiveness based on my teams experience and testing. Secondary consideration was given to cubic size, weight, and user friendliness to the end user trained at the level of tactical first responder. I intended the kit to be able to be ordered as a unit and fully outfit one Ranger with a blowout kit. The kit is designed to allow the user to place the TQ on their duty belt using the eleven10 TQ holder and allow the rest of the kit to remain in the vacuum sealed pouch. The pouch itself can be stowed in a pouch on the users kit, in a pack or, less preferably, a vehicle. Alternatively the contents can be removed and stowed in the users existing IFAK pouch."
