    Compressed Gauze

This is the smallest packing gauze of which I know. It makes a great component to a minimalist kit. Well packaged. Good price.

Very nice gauze. Extremely compact makes good for space saving. Half the size of g.i. so less bulky

    Perfect for EDC!

Posted by Corey Rogan on 07 08 2020

I bought a couple of these gauze strips because they're pocket-thin but also long. I tucked them into a pocket-sized EDC first aid pouch to be used for bleeding control, whether that's a bad cut or a major puncture wound. I used to carry a SWAT-T torniquet to have a "multitool" that could be used for a torniquet or a pressure bandage, but it was simply too big and heavy. This H&H gauze strip replaced it. Although I've lost the torniquet ability, I think gauze strips are a better overall bleeding control option when size is a consideration. Clothing can be used to maintain pressure or form a quasi-torniquet if push comes to shove, but a gauze strip is smaller and simultaneously covers the most common bleeding wounds you might encounter.

    Worked great.

I slipped with a knife while camping and cut my hand to the bone. Lots of blood. Was able to get 3- 4" skin closures on it and the compact gauze. Worked great. Plenty of material to wrap my hand several times. Very compact package.

    Compact Gauze

    Posted by Richard on 07 02 2016

If you are looking for a very compact gauze, this may be just the ticket. This small package is quite flat and would make an excellent addition to an etc kit. Much more compact than roll gauze. Good price and good product.
