TCCC IFAK Refill Module
The MARCH TCCC IFAK Refill Module is a convenient way to restock used, old, or expired TCCC essential components - or use this module as a starting point to build your own IFAK (find a pouch here).
This module includes just the essentials for a MARCH TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) kit and will address most severe trauma scenarios, but don't forget to add whatever additional supplies you need, from everyday needs like bandages, band-aids, tape, meds and topicals to the more specialized equipment like splinting, airway or diagnostic components.
MARCH Algorithm
The MARCH acronym is an easy-to-remember order of operations for treating trauma patients, helping responders prioritize what injuries to treat first.
- M - Massive Hemorrhage - Severe bleeding can cause death very quickly. Tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and wound packing gauze can rapidly help reduce or stop bleeding.
- A - Airway Management - Closed airways are the second common cause of survivable deaths. Naso or oral airway devices can aid in maintaining an open airway in trauma casualties.
- R - Respiratory - The chest cavity has a specific pressure that allows the lungs to function as intended. Chest seals and decompression needles can help restore and maintain the natural pressure needed in the chest cavity.
- C - Circulation - Trauma patients are often in a state of shock which can require IV or IO intervention in order for circulatory systems to work properly.
- H - Head Injury / Hypothermia - Identify and monitor for head injuries. Address hypothermia in trauma patients (hypothermia is part of the lethal triad and should be taken seriously).

What is TCCC?
TCCC stands for Tactical Combat Casualty Care. It is a set of best-practice guidelines developed from evidence-based studies, aimed at managing trauma in the field, especially in combat, tactical, or high-risk environments. These best practices are used by military personnel, but have also been adapted by prominent organizations such as the ACS (American College of Surgeons) and NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians). These standards guide law enforcement and even civilian first responder medical trainings.

Great core IFAK starter or refill
I bought this to go in a travel bag as a bare bones trauma kit. I really like how much comes in it (not too little, yet not too much) and being able to pick which TQ I want. My only suggestion would be to also allow me to substitute the regular folded Rescure Essentials gauze for the NAR z-folded gauze with an x-ray band in it. Aside from that, this refill kit looks great and should be in everyone's car, travel bag, work desk, etc. as a bare bones trauma kit.

The best value in IFAK refill kits, period
You cannot beat this kit on price for what you get, other than via a first responder discount. I've tried. The tourniquet and chest seals already put the value at 47 dollars, and there's 8 other items. Perfectly meets the TCCC guidelines, just without hemostatic gauze.

tccc refill module
Has everything you need and nothing you don't. Going to use it as a throw kit in the event of a casualty where I can't get to the injured party

Outstanding Kit
Probably the best refill kit in the market right now. Has everything you need to stop the bleed in an emergency situation. I do a lot of hiking, bow/rifle hunting and fishing so this kit is essential for outdoor activities. I also work in utilities out in the field and the first aid kits we are issued do not include a tourniquet, gauze or chest seals, all we got in them are bandages and alcohol wipes. Freak accidents and emergencies happen, this kit will save lives.

Pretty good IFAK
This is very similar to the ones that I have encountered in the Army. Everything fits in a standard IFAK pouch. This kit contains 2 chest seals which is a good idea because wounds can be on moth sides of a body. Shipping an order takes about 10 days to 2 weeks as a lot of the supplies are being bought and sent to Ukraine. So expect some delays for a bit. Communications with between rescue essentials and myself were a bit spotty but we worked it out in the end. I would use this company again.
