Staff Pick: Rescue Essentials First Responder Vehicle Kit

“I have been the first at-scene for many vehicle accidents during my extensive travels, and I always know I have what I need to begin treatment before local EMS arrives. I keep one in each car. The Rescue Essentials First Responder Vehicle Kit is comprehensive, but doesn't have a large footprint.”
- Kelli J., The person you HOPE shows up if you’re hurt
NREMT, COEMT-IV and WEMT, and former firefighter

Staff Pick: Motorcycle Operator Kit

The Motorcycle Operator Kit is compact enough to be stowed away in a saddle bag or backpack but has all the necessary essentials for a minor slide up to full on impact. I especially like the light sticks that are included which are useful for scene safety following an accident or just a roadside breakdown for traffic visibility. It’s an awesome kit!

Staff Pick: Custom Kit with Vital Components

“Instead of picking my favorite single Rescue Essentials product, I went with a custom kit that was tailor-made by me. With the wide variety of equipment available, I was able to choose components that fit my needs perfectly. The sales team talked me through the options, and I ended up with a first aid kit that works best for me and my surfer friends!

Staff Pick: EDC IFAK

“I keep a small kit in my car with a SWAT-T, compressed gauze, and gloves. A larger one lives on my boat. My favorite Rescue Essentials kit is the EDC IFAK. Though relatively small, this product is great because it treats a wide range of injuries, and includes medications, topicals, basic first aid, and trauma supplies.”

Staff Pick: Rescue Essentials QuikLitter Lite

“The QuikLitter Lite has to be one of our most impressive products. It is a highly capable extrication device and weights less than a pound. Add the fact that it actually fits in a cargo pocket, and there is no denying that this is a truly unique product. I've seen a patient weighing over 350 lbs lifted with the QuikLitter Lite, no problem.”
- Phil C., Director of Levity

Staff Pick: Slishman Traction Splint (STS)

“It has been a privilege to play a small part in the introduction of the *STS. The looks on faces of responders seeing it for the first time is priceless. I love that the STS can be applied in seconds rather than minutes, providing relief to patients who might otherwise have been transported in pain.”
- Jorian, Veteran Cutting Horse Trainer

*Jorian chose the Slishman Traction Splint (STS) for its impact on emergency medicine, rather than for its general usefulness to the staff.
Staff member Jorian is a competitive cutting horse trainer.

Staff Pick: Classroom Critical Incident Kit (CCIRK)

“I like knowing that the CCIRK is in my supply cabinet. As a teacher I am responsible for the safety of my students - I would feel terrible if anything bad happened and I wasn't prepared for it!”
- Kira, Backcountry Enthusiast

Barry is a hard core mountain biker who likes to stay prepared on the trail with the Wildland Fire Kit.
Staff Pick: Wildland Fire Kit

“What I love about it is its' versatility. The kit covers everything from sunscreen to severe bleeding. It is really well organized and has room to add extra meds and alcohol wipes. $67.50 is a small price to pay for being prepared for major bleeding, along with the practicality of minor treatments!”
