The RETT IFAK is designed using the durable Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch MKII Small, delivering a compact, low‑profile medical kit optimized for rapid deployment. Users can configure the pouch with either a high‑visibility red pull tab or a low‑visibility black pull tab, both engineered for quick downward extraction in emergency situations.

Unlike many other compact IFAKs, the RETT IFAK stores the Tactical Medical Solutions SOF Gen 5 windlass tourniquet inside the pouch instead of in external elastic loops. This internal placement protects the tourniquet from weather exposure and prevents accidental loss during movement or operations.

Inside the carrier on the RETT IFAK, you’ll find essential TCCC‑aligned medical components for treating life‑threatening injuries, including severe bleeding, airway obstruction, and respiratory trauma—organized according to the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm. A removable retainer strap secures the carrier to the pouch during deployment, ensuring it cannot fall away unexpectedly. For lumbar carry or belt placement, the retainer strap can be detached to give direct access when needed.
