Basic Child CRiSis Manikin
The Child CRiSis Manikin is a dynamic, state-of-the-art training manikin designed to teach individuals or groups essential life‑saving skills for pediatric patients. Representing a 5‑year‑old child, the Child CRiSis Manikin offers comprehensive PALS training capabilities by combining all required skill stations into a single manikin. This integrated design creates a more realistic training experience and helps students understand the challenges associated with a smaller patient size.
The Life/form® Child CRiSis Manikin features detailed, anatomically accurate construction. Realistic anatomical landmarks include the mouth, tongue, oropharynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, vocal cords, trachea, and esophagus. In addition to visible and palpable landmarks, the head, neck, and jaw are fully articulated to allow for realistic jaw‑thrust maneuvers.
The manikin is equipped with separate left and right lungs for auscultation, supports oral, nasal, and digital intubation, and includes an inflatable stomach bladder to indicate esophageal intubation. It also allows for insertion of E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube®, and King System airways.
