DESCRIPTION
SAM Medical Chest Seal Combo
The SAM Chest Seal Combo Pack provides two chest seals; one vented, and one non-vented. This allows the responder to deal with both entry and exit wounds in cases of through-penetrating traumatic chest injuries. The vented seal features a one-way valve. The one-way valve provides for low resistance flow of air out of the chest cavity while preventing ingress. The valve is also designed to prevent blockage internally. The domed shape of the valve was specially designed to prevent obstruction of the air channels from items such as blankets, clothing, and body armor.
