Insulated Hypothermia Prevention & Management Kit
Improving upon the original North American Rescue Hypothermia Prevention & Management Kit, this insulated version features a reinforced Heat Reflective Shell - Insulated™ which is strong, flexible, lightweight as well as impervious to wind & rain. This insulated kit meets new CoTCCC guidelines.
The Insulated Hypothermia Prevention & Management Kit boasts a 5-ply, composite fabric with a protected non-conductive reflective layer and a NEW insulation layer providing long-lasting thermal retention. In addition, 1.5 inch continuous hook and loop closures are located along the outside of the covering.
This hypothermia kit also features an insulated top-to-bottom tapered shape that maximizes isothermal potential. Included oxygen- activated 4-Cell Ready Heat blanket is self-heating and is designed to provide up to 10 hours of continuous dry heat without requiring any external power supply. Vacuum-packaged in a rugged, pliable pouch featuring NAR’s Red Tip Technology with tabs that allow easy access and swift deployment.
The new top and bottom insulation layers surpass the insulation value of the Army Module Sleep System Patrol Bag. This insulation is highly compactable but also has outstanding rebound after being opened. Added insulation is hydrophobic and will not retain fluids or additional liquid weight.
