The Tactical First Response (TFR) Kit - Advanced from Rescue Essentials provides personnel with a compact and durable kit to treat bleeding from traumatic injuries. This kit is vacuum packaged for small cubic displacement. It fits into a BDU pocket, vest pouch, or individual bag. This permits personnel to carry a compact bleeding control kit on their person, where it is needed most. The vacuum sealed package is rugged, durable, and easy to open. The TFR-A includes a hemostatic dressing (QuikClot) which, in conjunction with direct pressure, can control even severe arterial bleeding.

The included QuikClot Bleeding Control Dressing is a gauze impregnated with a hemostatic agent to speed up the body's blood clotting process. A 4" Emergency Trauma Dressing allows for increased compression when applied. The versatile SWAT-T® Tourniquet is a stretchable tourniquet, it can be applied with one hand and can also function as a pressure wrap. A Hyfin® Chest Seal is the final life-saving component. This state of the art chest seal has a hydro gel lining for immediate, secure application.
