The NIO presents as an automatic intraosseous device, designed for safe, rapid, and straightforward vascular access. It requires no drills, batteries, or additional components.
The pediatric option features a removable red spacer, which adjusts the penetration depth from 14mm to 18mm, accommodating pediatric patients 3–12 years old.
