After careful review and talking with several medical professionals I've decided to replace all my CPR mask kits with BVMs. Everyone has seen these being used on TV but when's the last time you saw a CPR mask shown? I know, TV 's not real, but the exposure is.
Also, a CPR mask has a certain 'ick' factor for non-trained personnel. At an emergency I can start someone with a BMV and monitor the usage while triaging or treating another PT. The newbie can "squeeze a bag" and maintain mask placement without getting their face 'too close.'
Yes; they take up more space, weigh more and cost more than a CPR mask, but even the best tools, unused, don't help anybody. Since I own and maintain 8-10 kits for various needs (church, clubs, autos and home) I'm not as concerned with weight and bulk. And these BVMs are high-quality gear.

BVM

It meets the compact quality I wanted but it is heavier than I expected. I need it for a remote wilderness use

Pocket BVM

This is impossible for me to review yet as I just received the product last week, I am a WFR, and hope never to actually have to use it. But I bought it for its size and it delivered in this respect.

Pocket BVM

I have used NAR and now this. I'm gonna say it's the same product only its it's a better price here. I kinda get a weird vibe from the mask itself but u cant expect to get full size BWM quality in a pocket size... the bag might could be a little smaller since we talking pocket size. But never the less,I have deployed these in the field and work great and I will continue to use them.

Just the solution we needed

After looking at several options to outfit the EMTs in the field, came upon this item. Was skeptical at first, considering its small size, but after extensive training in classroom settings, realized the ease of use and rugged construction. Ordered several more and have had nothing but good things to say! Tip - keep it in the plastic bag its shipped in or use a LITTLE tape to make sure it doesn't pop open in the bag.

compact tool

ordered one for church emergency response - liked it, so came back for another for my car kit. Don't ever want to have to use it, but glad to have this tool if I do. Be careful about taking it out of the case -- difficult to get back in.

Great Space Saver

This turned out better quality than I expected. It takes up minimal space packaged but proves it can do the job.
