Pedidose Pediatric Dosing Syringe
This Pedidose Pediatric Dosing Syringe was invented by Rescue Essentials' Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sam Slishman. The dosing syringe was designed to enable parents or care takers to easily dose liquid children's medicines such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen and diphenhydramine by the weight of the child. The weight-based volumes delivered for each of these medications are nearly the same allowing this 10 mL syringe to work for any child up to 50 pounds. (For those who prefer more precision with metric units, the syringe delivers 15 mg/kg acetaminophen, 9.37 mg/kg ibuprofen and 1.17 mg/kg diphenhydramine.)
