We travel a lot at Rescue Essentials and being who we are, we found ourselves carrying multiple medical kits and supplies for EDC (Every Day Carry). IFAK's are a great thing to have in your bag, but typically lack the basic first aid supplies that you need on a regular basis. So we created the EDC IFAK. A "go to" comprehensive Everyday Carry medical kit. Toss it in your go bag, your suitcase, backpack or your vehicle and you always have the medical supplies you need for both severe bleeding, CPR and basic first aid. Compact enough to carry without taking up a ton of valuable space in your bag.

While most IFAK's have the medical components necessary to control severe bleeding (e.g. tourniquet, wound packing, pressure dressing, etc) what they typically don't have is the general first aid supplies you need on a day to day basis. Things like bandages, tape, gauze pads, over the counter medications, etc. The EDC IFAK is your comprehensive one kit solution for everyday carry medical. From severe trauma to basic first aid. No sharp items or liquids that are going to be grabbed by TSA when traveling.
