DESCRIPTION
Simulated Hemostatic Gauze
A single 4-foot z-folded gauze, intended to simulate hemostatic reaction for wound-packing and Stop the Bleed training. Even down the heat-sealed pouch, this trainer emulates the real deal. The hemostatic trainer realistically imitates clotting action when used with the TrueClot® Blood Simulant. For an authentic feeling while training, the TrueClot Blood Simulant and Hemostatic Training Gauze in conjunction with a wound packing trainer provide students valuable experience.
TrueClot Bleeding Control Training Products were developed under Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) SBIR contract W81XWH-11-C-0062.
